​RC3 Reference Guides are introductory guides to specific research topics.

The first edition, published in March 2023, focuses on research on volunteering and includes 157 academic resources in English, Spanish and French. Resources are organized in relation to geographical areas (Global; Africa; Americas; Asia Pacific; Europe; Middle East and North Africa) and cover 6 strategic thematic areas:

4. Volunteering in crises and emergencies
